CS CRISIS STAFF Instruction for persons who have stayed in or are coming from Lombardy and Veneto

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In order to achieve an effective response to the epidemic caused by the new Coronavirus, the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton for monitoring and analyzing the situation caused by the new Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) recommends that persons who have stayed in or are coming from Italy in the last 14 days, especially from the provinces of Lombardy and Veneto, contact the on-duty epidemiologist by phone at 062/086-282, for the purpose of collecting epidemiological data and advising on further action.

Until then, home isolation is advised.

In case of respiratory symptoms - elevated body temperature, cough, and difficulty breathing, it is advised to call the phone number 062/086-282, where the on-duty epidemiologist will respond and inform the mobile team of the Health Center or the Institute for Emergency Medical Aid, with the aim of them coming to the address, performing an examination, and determining further action, announced the Service for Protocol and Press of CS. 

Until the arrival of the mobile team, it is advised to stay at home and, if possible, take self-isolation measures, in order to protect the health of household members (contacts). The Cantonal Crisis Staff expects these recommendations to be taken seriously and applied, in order to protect the health of the population.
