Crisis on the scene: Will there be a BiH Parliament session

The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina was supposed to start in Sarajevo at 10 AM. However, as things stand, representatives of parties from Republika Srpska will boycott the session.

Mladen Bosić (SDS), Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Šefik Džaferović, yesterday requested the postponement of the session.

Namely, Bosić requested at the session of the Collegium of the House of Representatives that the session of that house scheduled for tomorrow be postponed until an official decision is made on the (non)initiation of the review of the verdict in the BiH lawsuit against Serbia.

He called the current situation a constitutional crisis, stating that institutions are behaving unconstitutionally, given that individuals, not institutions, are deciding on the review.

Šefik Džaferović, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, confirmed that Bosić's initiative was rejected and that the session will be held. Representatives of parties from Republika Srpska said they would come to the Parliament building, but would not attend the session.
