Krivokapić: I am the new prime minister, and Abazović will be the head of diplomacy

(Patria) - The leader of the "For the Future of Montenegro" coalition, Zdravko Krivokapić, stated that he is convinced that there will be a peaceful transfer of power in Montenegro, although there are always pressures.

Krivokapić said that at the constitutive session of the Parliament of Montenegro, scheduled for September 23, the Speaker of the Parliament and the Administrative Committee will be elected, and that, most likely, a prime minister-designate will be proposed, but everything is still in the phase of negotiations and agreements.

"I hope that by Monday, or Tuesday at the latest, everything will be known," Krivokapić told RTS.

Regarding the announcement that the new government will be an expert government and the claims that he will be the new prime minister and Dritan Abazović the new head of diplomacy, Krivokapić emphasized that they are currently negotiating and that the current agreements do not mention names, and that in their future work they want to include all national minorities.

Krivokapić said that the statements that take Montenegro back to the period attributed to it - hajdučija, or rather the komiti movement - are surprising to him.

"Now you see where this idea of komiti comes from if President Đukanović says that he will also join in some forests. I don't know how feasible that is now," Krivokapić added.

Answering the question of whether anything will change in the relations between Belgrade and Podgorica with his coming to power, Krivokapić said that there will be a change in all relations.

"We want to have the same principle of action, and that is good cooperation primarily with neighbors, and with all other countries. That is a clear message and we are constantly sending it," stated Krivokapić.
