Krivokapić future prime minister, some did not stand for the anthem

(Patria) - The 27th convocation of the Parliament of Montenegro was constituted on Wednesday by confirming the deputies' mandates, which elected Aleksa Bečić from Democratic Montenegro as its president, and this is the first convocation in the last 30 years in which Milo Đukanović's Democratic Party of Socialists does not have a majority.
Previously, disagreements regarding the support for Zdravko Krivokapić, the holder of the list of the "For the Future of Montenegro" coalition, were resolved by all government deputies signing that they would support him as the prime minister-designate of the future government after the constitution of the parliament.

The coalitions "For the Future of Montenegro", "Black on White", and "Peace is Our Nation" have a majority of 41 deputies to form a new government and send the Democratic Party of Socialists into opposition after 30 years.

Social Democrats and the Bosniak Party won three seats each, SDP two, "Black on White" four, "Albanian Coalition - Unanimously" one seat, DPS 30, the "For the Future of Montenegro" coalition 27, the "Albanian List" one, and the "Peace is Our Nation" coalition ten seats.

In the parliament, Milan Knežević from the Democratic Front said that Krivokapić has their full support and that the leaders of that party "are not interested in positions, but only in the future of Montenegro and all its peoples", while all three coalitions simultaneously published a request on Twitter to the President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović to entrust the mandate for forming the new government to the leader of the pro-Serbian coalition Krivokapić.

After the elections held on August 30, in which the government was changed in Montenegro for the first time in 30 years, the new ruling majority signed a coalition agreement by which the leaders committed not to change the state symbols of Montenegro, its foreign policy goals, and not to question the recognition of Kosovo.

Although the agreement of the three ruling coalitions stipulated that Montenegrin symbols would not be changed, the most extreme part of the DF, the deputies of the New Serbian Democracy, entered the constitutive session of the parliament only after the state anthem was played.

Also, the President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović did not attend the first session of this convocation.

He has a legal deadline of 30 days to give Zdravko Krivokapić the mandate to form a new government, Hina reports.
