Krišto with representatives of trade unions of employees in BiH institutions, teams being formed to reach consensus

SARAJevo, (Patria) - BiH Council of Ministers Chairperson Borjana Krišto and representatives of trade unions in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed today the trade unions' request to open the collective bargaining process.

It was agreed at the meeting that negotiation teams be formed as soon as possible and that negotiations continue with the aim of reaching a high degree of consensus on refining the text of the future collective agreement, considering the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have a signed collective agreement with employees at the level of BiH institutions.

During the meeting with representatives of the Independent Trade Union of Civil Servants and Employees in BiH Institutions, the Trade Union Alliance of Police Bodies in BiH, and the Trade Union of the Indirect Taxation Authority, the importance of open dialogue in resolving all issues on realistic grounds was emphasized.

Krišto expressed understanding for the problems raised by the trade union delegations, emphasizing that the BiH Council of Ministers and the trade unions of employees in BiH institutions are partners who should work together to regulate and strengthen the rights of employees in BiH institutions.
