Krišto with Begaj: Friendly relations between BiH and Albania

(Patria) - Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH Borjana Krišto met with the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj during his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting emphasized that this visit comes at a crucial moment for both countries, given their shared European aspirations and ambitions. Chairperson Krišto expressed her belief that this will further strengthen the friendly relations and improve cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Albania.

Krišto also congratulated President Begaj on the successful holding of the second intergovernmental conference, through which Albania became the first candidate country to open accession negotiations under the new methodology. In this context, she informed President Begaj about Bosnia and Herzegovina's intention to organize its first intergovernmental conference with the European Union, which would further confirm BiH's commitment to the European path.

President Begaj expressed strong support for the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that efforts to achieve full membership of BiH in the EU will bring long-term benefits, not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina but also for the entire region.
