Krišto and Ambassador Sattler discussed at the meeting the 5th Stabilisation and Association Council meeting between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was held in Brussels on July 19.
On that occasion, Chairperson Krišto emphasized that the document titled 'The Position of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Stabilisation and Association Process' was adopted and agreed upon at the session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held before the meeting in Brussels. Consequently, she stated that progress on achieving the goals on the path to the European Union is possible through dialogue, mutual respect, consensus, and adherence.
On that occasion, Ambassador Sattler handed Chairperson Krišto a demarche regarding the upcoming Global Gateway Forum, which will be held at the end of October in Brussels. The European Commission and the EU High Representative have defined Global Gateway, a new European strategy for promoting smart, clean, and secure connections in the digital, energy, and transport sectors, and for strengthening health, education, and research systems worldwide. Global Gateway advocates for sustainable and reliable connections that work for people and the planet to address the most pressing global challenges, from climate change and environmental protection to improving health security, strengthening competitiveness, and global supply chains.
Chairperson Krišto thanked for the handed demarche and welcomed the concept and standards promoted by the Global Gateway Forum with all concrete projects aimed at good governance, transparency, and sustainable development.
