
(Patria) - Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto sent a telegram of condolence to the Prime Minister of Morocco Aziz Akhannouch regarding the devastating earthquake that struck that country.
"On behalf of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in my own name, I express to you, the families of the victims and the people of Morocco deep condolences and sympathy with the pain and suffering of the families of the dead and injured in these difficult moments," the telegram states, adding:
"We are truly shaken by the suffering that has befallen you, in which human lives were lost and enormous material damage was caused. Our thoughts and prayers are with you."
We recall, more than 600 people died and hundreds were injured in the powerful earthquake that struck Morocco.
Numerous buildings have collapsed, and the search for survivors will continue due to difficult conditions.
