Krišto angered not only Dodik but also Čović, but it's important that Varhelyi is calm!

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto angered Milorad Dodik, but behind the scenes there is also talk of Dragan Čović, the head of the HDZ, who was not in favor of sending the Law on Courts in BiH into procedure without the consent of all three sides. In fact, Čović is the biggest advocate of the thesis that there should be no overriding of votes or possible agreements at the expense of one people. He, of course, always advocates this solely for his own position, never for state or higher interests.

However, Krišto wanted to protect herself. Earlier, she tried to convince European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi through a special letter that BiH would try to fulfill the last condition for opening accession negotiations with the EU this week. And as she wrote, so she did.

Although the letter itself immediately caused anger and nervousness from Milorad Dodik, Krišto did not stop, and Minister of Justice Davor Bunoza submitted the Draft Law on Courts in BiH to the Council of Ministers of BiH, with the session scheduled for tomorrow, March 12.

Her very announcement that the Council of Ministers of BiH could consider the law on courts as early as Tuesday immediately caused surprise, but also anger among politicians from the Republika Srpska.

Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said that Serbian ministers will certainly not support the law because there is no consensus on it, and he accused Krišto of trying to override their votes with this announcement.

Krišto actually played a game without much involvement from all three sides that make up the coalition at the state level. However, in the Draft Law that Patria had the opportunity to review, it is stated that the seat of the Appellate, i.e., Higher Court, is in East Sarajevo, which the SNSD does not agree to.

Dodik is clear: there will be no law until the request from Republika Srpska is accepted that the seat of the future appellate division of the Court of BiH be in Banja Luka, and that the state-level court cannot deal with cases processed by judicial bodies at the entity levels.

Such a thing, on the other hand, is considered a derogation of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, about which the leaders of the Troika parties have not paid much attention during their tenure in government.

Nevertheless, it is difficult to expect that such a draft law will be adopted tomorrow, but Krišto certainly played a game in which she once again tried to show Brussels the obstructors of Bosnia and Herzegovina's EU path. She just forgot the connections between boss Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, which are stronger than any EU path for BiH! Therefore, Krišto will certainly have to report such behavior, not only to ministers from the RS but also to the central HDZ.
