Krišto: The relationship between SDA and HDZ BiH is a relationship between two peoples

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Numerous guests from other political parties, as well as representatives of embassies in BiH, are attending the Seventh Congress of the SDA.

Borjana Krišto, Vice President of HDZ BiH, addressed those present at the Congress today, stating that HDZ BiH and the SDA have been cooperating and participating at various levels of government for many years.

“This relationship is not just a relationship between two parties; it is a relationship between two peoples in BiH. The policy of the Croatian people, under the leadership of HDZ and President Dragan Čović, advocates for the equality of constituent peoples. For that, we need better cooperation, more trust, more respect, more honesty. I hope and deeply believe that we will build more trust among us, and I hope that the SDA, together with political options from the other two peoples, will know how to respond to all challenges, follow the European path, and implement all the reforms that BiH needs,” said Krišto.

She added that she believes they will have even better cooperation and together have a better future.

During Krišto’s address, Alma Čolo, a state representative of the SDA and candidate for Vice President of the SDA, fell ill. The Secretary General of the SDA, Halid Genjac, said that “Čolo suffered a collapse, but that everything will be fine.”
