Krišto: What deals are you talking about, HDZ didn't even know when Jukić made the decision on the census

Suspicion that the decision of Velimir Jukić, director of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on a unified methodology for processing census data is the result of political deals is persistently repeated by SNSD, and they claim that the decision was made after the Proposal of the Law on Games of Chance was withdrawn from the Federal Parliament, which HDZ strongly opposed, Patria writes.

Although it is an open secret that betting shops in West Herzegovina are the biggest financiers of HDZ, in that party they claim that such deals are not part of their repertoire. This was reiterated today by Borjana Krišto, deputy president of HDZ BiH and member of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- I don't know what deal you are talking about. Today we had a session of the House of Representatives at the initiative of SNSD representatives and we had one agenda item defined as it was defined. I don't know what you mean. I belong to one policy, HDZ, which has its own program, we are a party that has its own goals and based on that builds and takes its positions – emphasized Krišto.

She further stated that Director Jukić only complied with legal provisions and made a decision on the methodology of data processing.

- Regarding the director of the Agency for Statistics, he does his job and made the decision based on the law exclusively as director due to the responsibility he has at the head of the Agency. If you really want to say that these are some deals, here I am first, and the party president (Dragan Čović, ed.) as well, none of us knew at that moment that Jukić had made the decision.
