Krišto reads Schmidt's decision on NUB BiH, Košarac and Amidžić leave Council of Ministers session

(Patria) - At yesterday's session of the BiH Council of Ministers, the Chairperson of the BiH Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto, under the agenda item 'current issues', began reading the decision of High Representative Christian Schmidt regarding the National and University Library of BiH, as well as six other institutions of state importance, but then ministers from RS, Staša Košarac and Srđan Amidžić, left the session.

Košarac stated that this was not on the session's agenda and that Krišto had used her right to read these decisions during the agenda item concerning current issues.

He said that it was not discussed at the Collegium, but even if it had been, it would not have received his support.

Košarac emphasized that an attempt was made to verify the imposed decisions of the false High Representative.

Responding to questions about whether he feared being prosecuted for "disrespecting the decisions of Christian Schmidt", as is the case with the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Košarac said that they could prosecute him as much as they wanted.

"The process against President Dodik is a politically fabricated process. If someone in Sarajevo is happy that the President of Republika Srpska is being prosecuted in a fabricated process, that is a matter of your emotions and commitments, but sooner or later, those in Sarajevo who do not listen to foreigners will also face consequences," said Košarac.

He stated that those who follow and respect Dodik's policies are not subordinates and exclusively follow the BiH Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement, and strive to define internal issues with partners, legitimately elected representatives of the other two constituent peoples.

"We do not act on the dictate of usurpers. We are not subordinates," said Košarac.

We remind you that Schmidt gave the BiH Council of Ministers a deadline to authorize one of the employees of NUB BiH to perform the duties of director, i.e., those tasks necessary for the normal functioning of the institution. However, considering that there will be resistance, he provided an alternative option that even without that decision, an employee can perform these duties. The same applies to the remaining institutions of state importance when they are left without management structures.
