Kristić: Čelik attempted to forcibly enter the office of the President of the Cantonal Assembly

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The President of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton Danijela Kristić and members of the SKS Collegium held a press conference after the session of the KS Assembly Collegium.

As she stated, they discussed the "controversial decision on the appointment" of Mirza Čelik as the President of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton.

"We made a decision that the vital national interest of Croats is threatened. I am not glad that this situation has arisen, forcing us to invoke the vital national interest," Kristić said, adding that she does not want to live in "such a Sarajevo where the vital national interest of Croats is threatened." She stated that at 10 AM, Čelik attempted to forcibly enter the office of the President of the KS Assembly.

Elmedin Konaković, Deputy President of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, said at today's press conference that it is "a disgrace that Sarajevo Canton has experienced such a brutal attack and sent a message that where returnees live, where the majority is dominant, everything can be taken by force."

"It is a disgrace that Sarajevo has experienced such brutality - an operation exclusively directed from the Clinical Center by Professor Izetbegović," Konaković said.

He confirmed that the "missing seal" is in the Assembly but that they cannot give it to those who falsely represent themselves.

''I hid the seal from the gang that tried to use what does not belong to them,'' Konaković added.

A session of the KS Assembly, which is questionable due to the lack of a majority and the quartet (NiP, Naša stranka, SDP BiH and NBL) and the new coalition of SDA, SBB and DF, should be held on Wednesday, January 8.
