Krešimir Zubak: If the referendum in RS is ignored, it could lead to further destruction of BiH

Some think the referendum will not cause negative consequences, but I don't think so. If state institutions overlook it and do not react, a precedent could be set that would lead to further destruction of BiH – Krešimir Zubak told today's Večernji list, reports NAP.

Zubak was the president of the Federation of BiH at the time of the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement. He is a lawyer with many years of experience, and in recent years he has been working as an attorney.

- If the undisputed decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which temporarily prohibits the holding of a referendum, were to be ignored, then some cantons or municipalities could act in a similar way. Therefore, institutions must not allow this to become a precedent and to be overlooked through some political agreement – Zubak believes.
