Kratina: Unclear resistance of SDP and NS to extraordinary session of PFBiH

(Patria) - At the insistence of the DF-GS Deputies Club, a minimum of twenty signatures were collected for holding an Extraordinary Session of the House of Representatives to discuss "Complication of the security situation in the area of internal security in relation to the activities on the establishment of the reserve police force of the RS entity," said Alma Kratina, head of the DF and GS Deputies Club in the Parliament of FBiH, today.

"The initiative to hold the session was signed by deputies from the DF and GS Club, as well as deputies from SDA, while other deputies ignored it, apparently considering that convening an extraordinary session of the Parliament of FBiH is not necessary at all, and assessing that such an initiative is nothing more than unnecessarily raising tensions. However, we in DF still maintain the position that the missing active police force in the Federation must be filled," said Kratina.

Also, a similar attitude towards convening an Extraordinary Session to discuss the Resolution of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH regarding the verdict of the MICT (International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Courts) for Radovan Karadžić, which was requested by the DF-GS and SDA Clubs, was demonstrated by other political parties.

"The request to include this agenda item at the Extraordinary Session was again met with reservations and numerous objections, especially from SDP and Naša stranka. For us in DF and GS, it is unclear why some parties are showing indolence and disinterest in these topics. Nevertheless, despite everything, at our insistence, both initiatives will be discussed at the Extraordinary Session," said Kratina.
