Kraljević nevertheless protects the interests of the FBiH, did not attend the session of the Steering Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority, thus preventing voting on the distribution of toll revenue

(Patria) - The Steering Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) of BiH held its 4th session today in Banja Luka, where amendments to the Rulebook on Authorities and Authorized Officials of the UIO were adopted.

Given that the Minister of Finance of the FBiH Government, Toni Kraljević, did not attend the session, it was not possible to vote on the agenda items concerning the distribution of toll revenue, nor on the Decision on determining temporary coefficients for the distribution of funds from the single account for the period January – March 2024.

According to legal provisions and the Rules of Procedure of the UIO BiH Steering Board, the presence of all three finance ministers is necessary to decide on these items. The session was attended by the Chairman of the UIO Steering Board and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Srđan Amidžić, and the Minister of Finance of the Government of Republika Srpska, Zora Vidović.

Amendments to the Rulebook on the Internal Organization of the UIO were also not adopted at today's session, which jeopardizes the jobs of 23 officials of the Authority, according to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.
