End of December in Florida: FK Sarajevo Camp for BiH Talents

Following the example of all major football teams, the current Bosnian-Herzegovinian champion FK Sarajevo is organizing a camp for BiH talents in America at the end of December, reports the Patria News Agency.

Our champion's partner in organizing the camp is the Colorado Football Association ("Colorado Adult Soccer Association"), which in cooperation with the BiH FA organized a representative camp in Denver last May, and the sponsor this time will be the US Soccer Federation (USSSA). The goal of the camp is to find young talents like Rijad Kobiljar and, depending on the age category, include them in the ranks of the current champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As informed by Dino Selimović, General Director of FK Sarajevo, to the organizers, the camp in Florida will be attended by Almir Hurtić, Coordinator of the Youth Academy of FK Sarajevo and Head of the FK Sarajevo Academy, and Semjon Milošević, authorized scout of FK Sarajevo. On the host side, Murat Alibašić, coach in the youth academy of Colorado Rapids, Nedžad Dervišević, owner of the Football Academy Bosnia and Herzegovina – Chicago, and Elvir Mešić, Sports Director of "Florida Elite Soccer Academy" will be actively involved.

Otherwise, the Selective Camp "FK SARAJEVO SOCCER CAMP USA 2015" represents the long-term orientation of the Sarajevo club towards talented players from the diaspora. The camp is intended for players aged 15-21.

In addition to selective processes, the camp also offers general sports and top football education. The best-rated players will be invited for trials at the football school of the Koševski champion, and all selected players will be included in the club's database to continuously monitor their development as players and athletes. Camp participants will be identified through formal parameters during three days of training and by methods applied in the work of FK Sarajevo. Scouts from F.C. Cardiff City and K.V. Kortrijk, also owned by Vincent Tan, have also been invited to this camp.

The camp will be held from December 25 to 28 at the Losco Park sports fields (10931 Hood Rd S Jacksonville FL 32257), and all potential footballers can register through the official website.
