End of season, Sarajevo champion, Zvijezda 09 and Čelik relegated!

(Patria) - At today's session, the Competition Commission decided to declare the end of the Premier League season after 22 rounds played. The leading team Sarajevo was declared champion, while Čelik and Zvijezda 09 leave the top flight. Besides Sarajevo (Champions League), Željezničar, Zrinjski and Borac (Europa League) will play in Europe. Olimpik and Krupa will return to the top flight. The decision must be confirmed by the Executive Board of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup has also been terminated, with Željezničar, Zrinjski, GOŠK and Široki Brijeg scheduled to play in the final. These decisions of the Competition Commission also need to be confirmed by the Executive Board of the Football Association, whose session should be held in the coming days.

Let us recall, football in Bosnia and Herzegovina was suspended after three rounds of the Premier League continuation due to the coronavirus pandemic. Although all countries in the region (Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Slovenia) have resumed or will resume the season, in BiH there will most likely be no football until the beginning of August.
