END OF TODAY'S PROTESTS Youth: Tomorrow at 12 in even greater numbers, with the message 'Hota, leave' - 'Classes will be justified, death will not'

(Patria) - New youth protests began at 12 o'clock with a gathering in front of the National Museum of BiH. Participants again took to the main road, holding banners, and began moving towards Skenderija. Citizens are joining the column as they move through the streets of Sarajevo.

13:58 "We will not allow anyone to be expelled from school. High school students, stand up, be free, they cannot expel you, this is our civic right. Classes will be justified, death will not," was the message at the end of the protest, with chants of "Hota, leave," directed at the Minister of Education. They emphasize that they are not hooligans, but citizens who want justice.

13:55 "Thank you for coming, we need to have more people every day. We call on the parents of these wonderful children to join us and for us to be more numerous. Tomorrow even stronger, God willing, at 12 o'clock. For all the children killed, justice will prevail," said the youth representatives, accompanied by chants of "justice, justice".

13:29 After a short stay at the Presidency, the youth decided to head towards the National Museum, where the protests began. The main city road was blocked during the march.

13:20 The protest march continued towards the building of the Presidency of BiH, where they blocked the road.

13:15 - Protest participants stayed in front of the KS Government for 15 minutes, where they demanded safe public transport. Numerous banners carried messages to the authorities. Some participants announced that the protests would continue in the coming days and called on citizens to join them. The column then began to move away from the KS Government.

13:00 - The column turned at the Trade Union House and is approaching the building of the Sarajevo Canton Government. They are carrying banners with various messages and banners of support for Ella Jovanović. They are making noise with whistles in front of the entrance to the KS Government. They are outraged by the bans on high school students participating in protests and demand the dismissal of Minister Naida Hota-Muminović (NIP).

The youth's demands include the withdrawal of all old trams, which has been complied with until all safety checks are completed.

Samir Hrnjica addressed the organizers, stating that the youth have risen up and that the protests are not politically motivated.

"I am the loudest here only because I am perhaps the oldest, but I am not the organizer. It doesn't matter that there are fewer of us today, everything remains the same," said Hrnjica.

Some high school students remained in school today due to threats of unexcused absences or reduced conduct marks by order of Minister Naida Hota-Muminović.

Some students pointed out that they came with their parents' permission, who will justify their absences, but it is evident that they are under pressure.

Most of the protest participants are university and high school students, joined by numerous citizens, as well as parents.

In the tragic tram accident on February 12, when a tram derailed and hit a tram stop, 23-year-old student Erdoan Morankić from Brčko died, and a 17-year-old student was seriously injured.

A session of the Security Commission of the KS Assembly is also underway, which will consider the security situation.
