Zenica Penitentiary: Woman from Sarajevo tried to smuggle heroin to boyfriend, guards discovered it before the visit

A few days ago, guards at the Zenica Closed-Type Penitentiary prevented a young woman from Sarajevo from smuggling drugs, specifically heroin, to her boyfriend E.V. (30) during a visit, the BH news agency Patria has learned.

Namely, during the visit, she placed heroin in her bra, but she seemed suspicious to the guards, who noticed and confiscated the drug during a search. Our source said that such and similar attempts occur in every prison.

- Attempts to smuggle drugs are frequent, but we try to notice such cases and prevent them - says our interlocutor.

Interestingly, while waiting for the visit to begin, the girl greeted two men who had also come to visit one of the inmates, and they were also questioned after the drug was discovered.

Prison guards questioned them about how they knew the girl, who she was, what she was, and it turned out they were just acquaintances from the same neighborhood in Sarajevo - says our source.
