Košarac requests official vehicle from Džaferović, Špirić justifies absence from sessions

The President of the SNSD MPs Club, Staša Košarac, sent a request to the Speaker Šefik Džaferović and members of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH for an official car to be approved for his use to travel to Belgrade and meet with President Milorad Dodik on the occasion of a ceremony organized by the Representative Office of Republika Srpska, reports the Patria News Agency.

In this way, Košarac, as well as other SNSD MPs for whom Džaferović previously signed orders and travel expenses, legitimize the Speaker while simultaneously staging performances in public by demanding his resignation and abandoning parliamentary work.

Thus, as needed, SNSD MPs at one moment, when they need to claim expenses, acknowledge, and at another, challenge his legitimacy.

The Director of the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Belgrade, Mlađen Cicović, sent an invitation to Staša Košarac to a formal reception on the occasion of Republika Srpska Day and the anniversary of the proclamation of the first Constitution of Republika Srpska, but did not invite representatives of other Serb parties in the BiH Parliament (SDS, NDP, and DNS).

The question arises as to why there is a division of Serb parties and MPs, and whether the RS Constitution in 1992 was written and adopted by Ante Marković's reformists, who have since transformed from pacifists and advocates of a civic multinational state into new suits of great Serb nationalists.

Nikola Špirić also wrote to Šefik Džaferović, with whom he co-chaired the BiH Parliament from 2002 to 2006, and during that mandate, Republika Srpska lost the largest number of competencies. In a letter addressed to the Collegium of the House of Representatives, Špirić distanced himself from his party colleagues by claiming that he is not boycotting the work of Parliament, but rather not attending sessions due to the incompatibility of the position of Minister of Finance and MP, and out of respect for the principle of separation of legislative and executive powers.

In his rich political career, Nikola Špirić has made several major turnarounds, so time will tell whether his latest letter is just an indication that he will be among the first to leave a ship that has already deeply taken on water, reports BNTV.
