Košarac, Amidžić and Nešić did not attend the BiH Council of Ministers session: Kurti is to blame

(Patria) - The session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was cancelled again today. Ministers from the BiH entity RS did not attend the session, nor did they announce their absence. Even media outlets from RS and RTRs announced today's session and the two laws that were supposed to be adopted today: the Law on Border Control and the Law on Personal Data Protection.

The session was initially scheduled for December 5, and then postponed to December 9 due to the arrival of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti. However, representatives from RS stated that this visit would have consequences. This is clearly one of those announced consequences.

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac, stated that the Serb ministers did not attend today's session of the Council of Ministers due to the arrival and reception of Albin Kurti in Sarajevo.

"This is a perfidious game by the 'Trojka' parties. And that is the main reason why we will not attend, because Kurti was received by federal and certain officials at the BiH level," Košarac stated.

Furthermore, as Košarac points out, the formal and legal conditions for voting on the two laws that were supposed to be on the agenda were not met.

We remind you that Prime Minister Kurti met with numerous officials on Friday, including members of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, as well as with the Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić at the FBiH Government. Kurti was also a keynote speaker at a session of Krug 99 in Vijećnica, and had a series of other meetings. He stated that although a stay in Neum for the Western Balkans Summit was planned, and although the Summit was cancelled, he did not want to cancel his agreed visit and meetings in Sarajevo.

The Council of Ministers of BiH announced that the session will continue on December 17.
