(Patria) - In the past 24 hours, the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH reported 1750 samples, of which 155 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 560 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča, and the Sv. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina and Sv. apostol Luka Hospital in Doboj, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 70 people in Republika Srpska. A total of 225 cases in BiH, excluding Brčko District.
New cases were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.
A total of 156,112 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 17,646 people.
As of today, 13,774 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery was recorded in 251 patients. Currently, there are 3,357 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.
In the past 24 hours, nine new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. In the last 24 hours, five deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, in which the presence of the new coronavirus was confirmed. These are middle-aged and elderly men from Prijedor, Prnjavor, Ribnik, Banja Luka, and Srbac.
As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 515, of which 339 are men and 176 are women.
