Corona worldwide: Highest number of cases in Asia, increasing in Europe and USA, lowest in Africa

(Patria) - 126,100 people worldwide have been infected with the coronavirus, and 4,600 have died as a result of the disease. More than half have recovered.

The infection is spreading rapidly in France as well, where the number of cases has increased to 2,281, while 48 people have died. It is similar in Spain, which confirms 2,182 cases, of which 487 new cases were registered on Wednesday.

Turkey reported its first case of infection on Wednesday, and the WHO praised the preventive measures it has taken at the state level.

In Bulgaria, there are 7 infected and 1 death, and in Poland, 26. All these countries have ordered the closure of schools.

US President Donald Trump ordered a one-month suspension of flights from Europe (excluding Great Britain) to the USA, where there are currently more than 1,000 infected people.

Cuba confirmed its first case on Wednesday, while Costa Rica registered 22.

The total number of infection cases in Japan has jumped to 1,278, and 19 people have died.

In South Korea, there are 114 new cases, bringing the total number to 7,699 with 66 fatal outcomes.

After initial stabilization, the number of infection cases in Vietnam has started to rise due to a flight from Great Britain. At the same time, Thailand reported 11 new cases, and the total number has increased to 70.

Bahrain records 77 new cases among citizens evacuated from Iran. Qatar reported another 238 cases, and Egypt reported 7 new cases, bringing the total number to 67.

Israel, which has implemented strict measures such as mandatory quarantine for all arrivals, records 100 cases of infection and no deaths so far.

On the African continent, Ivory Coast confirmed its first case of infection, as did Congo. In South Africa, there are a total of 6 new cases, and the total number is 13.
