Corona claims 35 more lives, RS tested five times less than F BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 488 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while 25 deaths have been recorded. The Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH reported a total of 2,113 samples in the past 24 hours, of which 344 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

So far, a total of 1,017,634 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 182,088 persons.

In the past 24 hours, 13 persons died in the Federation of BiH, from Una-Sana, Herzegovina-Neretva, Central Bosnia, Zenica-Doboj, Posavina, Tuzla and Sarajevo Canton, while five deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,280, announced the Institute for Public Health of FBiH.

In the RS, in the last 24 hours, 412 laboratory samples were tested, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 115 persons.

There are 52 men and 63 women, of whom 23 are younger, 63 middle-aged and 29 elderly.

In the last 24 hours, 12 deaths were reported to the Institute for Public Health of RS. There are six men and six women, of elderly age.

So far, 92,403 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 5,402 persons who tested positive for the coronavirus have died. A total of 367,753 persons have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in RS is 459, while 46 persons are on respirators, announced the Institute for Public Health of RS.

In the Brčko District of BiH, 29 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered today, out of 153 tested samples, according to the website of the Brčko District Government.
