Cormack: I look forward to coming to BiH

The United States Senate, at a session held last night, unanimously confirmed the nomination of Maureen Elizabeth Cormack for the position of U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and her early arrival in BiH is expected, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Until Ambassador Cormack takes the official oath at the U.S. Department of State and presents her diplomatic credentials to the Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chargé d'Affaires Nicholas Hill will continue to perform the duties of head of mission of the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Cormack briefly commented on the decision after the Senate vote.

- I don't need to say that I was extremely pleased that my nomination was confirmed. I sincerely look forward to my upcoming arrival in BiH - Cormack said.
