Controls in KS: 153 violation reports issued, 51 undeclared workers discovered

During the past week, market-tourism and labor inspectors of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs carried out a total of 266 inspections aimed at preventing the grey economy and undeclared work in the Sarajevo Canton. Based on the established situation, inspectors issued a total of 153 violation reports amounting to 154,150.00 KM, and discovered 51 persons working undeclared, reports the Patria agency.

Since the beginning of intensified inspection controls, i.e., in the period from July 17 to August 29, 2016, inspectors of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs carried out a total of 771 controls, during which, most often due to not issuing fiscal receipts and undeclared work, they issued 578 violation reports amounting to 625,431.00 KM. In the conducted inspections, 221 undeclared persons were found, for which violation reports were issued to employers, as well as to persons engaged without employment contracts.

Four inspection teams, coordinated in the field by two chief inspectors, conduct controls daily between 08:00 and 02:00. According to the Conclusion of the KS Government, the inspectors' activities are particularly focused on entities with high turnover, as well as repeat offenders of the mentioned violations.
