Ilidža Municipal Council Constituted, Stambolić, Lemezan and Avdić in Leadership

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Tarik Stambolić, a councilor from Narod i Pravda (People and Justice party), was elected president of the Ilidža Municipal Council by secret ballot with 20 votes out of a total of 31 councilors at the constitutive session of the Municipal Council held on December 30, 2020. At this session, the deputy presidents were also elected. These are Redžo Lemezan from Naša stranka (Our Party) who received 20 votes and Samir Avdić from SDP (Social Democratic Party). Tarik Stambolić received 2,596 votes in the local elections held on November 15.

The Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, congratulated all councilors, as well as the leadership of the Council who received the trust of the citizens, and expressed hope that together they will work in the interest of all citizens of Ilidža Municipality in the next four years.

"What is certain is that the mayor's hand is extended to every councilor, for every good proposal, for every idea and initiative that is in the interest of the citizens," stated Mayor Muzur.

The Ilidža Municipal Council elected members to the permanent working bodies of the Municipal Council based on the election results achieved in the Municipal Elections held on November 15, 2020.
