Constitutive Session: Who Will Form the Government in Sarajevo Canton?

The constitutive session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014, starting at 10:00 AM, announced the press service of the Sarajevo Canton Government, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The session will be held in the Great Hall of the Centar Sarajevo Municipality.

The following agenda has been proposed for this session:

1. Handing over certificates of mandate to the newly elected representatives in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly;

2. Constituting the clubs of peoples and the club of Others in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly;

3. Confirmation of the proposed candidates for the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly;

4. Proposal for the election of a temporary Commission for the election of delegates to the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament;

5. Election of delegates to the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

There are 36 representatives in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly. The Party of Democratic Action has 10 representatives, DF has seven, SBB has seven, SDP has four, Our Party has three, BPS has two, and BOSS has two.

Otherwise, it is not yet known who will have the majority in the SKS, and the largest number of representatives are held by SDA and DF (17), which is not enough. DF has spoken with Our Party, but no official agreement has been reached, writes Patria.
