Constitutive Session of the Main Board: SDP Leadership Elected

The constitutive session of the SDP Main Board was held in the building of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, opened by SDP President Nermin Nikšić, who wished the members a successful term in the next four years, elected by more than 800 delegates at the Congress held on October 3, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The new leadership of the SDP BiH was elected, and Saša Magazinović was elected as the head of the SDP Main Board, with deputies Zekerijah Osmić, Azra Okić, Albin Muslić, Marina Mujkanović, and Ivan Boban.

Irfan Čengić remained in the position of the party's general secretary.

Eight vice-presidents of the SDP were also elected: Zukan Helez, Lana Prlić, Denis Bećirović, Miro Lazović, Goran Ljubojević, Rusmir Mesihović, Enes Suljkanović, and Segmedina Srna-Bajramović.

Elected to the SDP Presidency were: Damir Mašić, Senaid Begić, Enver Bijedić, Besima Borić, Željka Bošnjak, Branka Đurić, Mira Grgić, Mladen Lonić, Hakija Meholjić, Zoran Mikulić, Nedžad Šečić, Mirko Pejanović, Nermina Zaimović-Uzunović, Senad Subašić, and Aner Žuljević.

Saša Magazinović stated that with today's session of the Main Board, internal party elections are concluded and serious political struggle begins.
