SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The 1st Congress of the Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List (NBL) will be held in Sarajevo on Sunday, September 29. The party was founded on September 30, 2017, when Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, the mayor of Stari Grad municipality, was elected president.

As Hadžibajrić confirmed for Patria, the NBL Presidency, with several new names, and elected commissions will be confirmed on Sunday.

“There will be about 220 delegates from all over BiH at the Congress,” said Hadžibajrić. 

NBL gathers members from all over BiH and was created out of the need for an alternative on the political scene. It brought together several independent mayors who won 110,000 votes in the last local elections, and a large number of members have joined NBL since 2017. 

The NBL Congress will be held at Unitic starting at 11 AM.
