Konaković: I will sacrifice even the position of Prime Minister and my political career, and more if necessary

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The storm has not subsided after Elmedin Konaković, Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton from the Party of Democratic Action, left the party, nor have the mutual accusations between these two sides. Konaković wrote today on his Facebook profile that "what bothers me most at the end of this story is that people with whom I spent years in politics think this way about me."

I am referring to these offers I had, to be the list bearer, to, as a relatively young politician, seize the opportunity, stay in the party and become one of its leaders. To be a careerist. What is even worse is that they think this media pressure will change my stance, that they think I am susceptible to it. - You will see how those who falsely quarrel in public tie flags together, tie flags for interests that are stronger even than the hatred they feel for each other.
