Konaković: The RS authorities still have a partner in us

(Patria) - The leader of NiP welcomes the High Representative's decision and tells coalition partners from Republika Srpska that they still have partners. He adds that he sees two scenarios, one is further escalation, and the other is joint work for the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I welcome the timely reaction of the High Representative, which demonstrated all the seriousness of the current situation and an attempt to attack the constitutional order of BiH.

He annulled those two laws, which may not have had a basis, but it is important that they are not debated. Their validity will never come into effect,” said the president of NIP, Elmedin Konaković, in an interview with N1.

He considers the amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH particularly important.

“I have previously warned those who thought of going down this path. With the amendments to the Criminal Code, the possibility is opened to remove, as some prosecutors warned, the shortcomings, so that there is no longer any doubt that such actions lead directly to prison,” added Konaković.

The president of NIP sees two possible scenarios, and says they are ready for both.

“They still have partners who are ready to build, regardless of the difficult circumstances we are in, the future of our country. The other path that could happen will lead Republika Srpska into complete isolation. Their position on the international and domestic scene is really not good, and I think they should take their actions more seriously.

In his statement to N1, Konaković referred to yesterday's meeting, which he said was painful, and confirmed that most of what came out in public was accurate.

The leader of the People and Justice party has apparently not transcended the cantonal level. Waving at the blind or whispering to the deaf is the same, isn't it.
