Konaković: We are ready for coexistence, but I also guarantee the defense of the state at all times

JAJCE, (Patria) - The President of the People and Justice party, Elmedin Konaković, visited Janja where the promotion of the first committee of this party in the BH entity of Republika Srpska was held, it was announced from the People and Justice party.

Among other things, he spoke about the current situation and events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"I guarantee that we are more ready for coexistence than any other political party and for making compromises, but I also guarantee that we are ready to defend the state at any moment if it becomes necessary again. When we are weak, disorganized and have a corrupt society, bad people leading us, we become easy prey for those who are not happy that Bosniaks are the majority in BiH," said Konaković.

Konaković said in Janja that he is glad that the talk and the People and Justice movement are reaching all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that in the BH entity of RS it is moving from Janja.

As he said, Janja is a heroic story.

"They say we are coming and dividing Bosniaks. On the contrary, we want to shake up the dormant Bosniak leaders who have created parties for themselves and take care exclusively of themselves and their closest ones while an entire population has been neglected," said Konaković.

Konaković also stated "that it is visible that Bosniaks in the RS today have fewer rights than the constitution guarantees them, that Bosniak representatives have handed over all concessions to Dodik, and in return have received nothing for returnees."

"It is clearly seen that no one attacks a criminal system that destroys our homeland and our people so intensely. We have shown, in a short period, a series of anti-corruption measures and laws, we have shown that there is someone who wants and can do things differently, and it is clear that those whose interests we have touched are scared, but we will not give up," said Konaković.

Konaković also said that there are calls from other returnee places, all with the aim of offering a new policy whose guidelines will be honesty, putting the interests of the people before personal interests, responsibility and dedicated work.

"In my political activities, according to my position, I have tried to change the attitude towards returnees. Our intention is not to undermine unity at any level, but we clearly say that we do not want to remain silent about corruption, crime, nepotism, favoring the suitable over the capable. I was in the delegation that visited Janja and Bijeljina, it was a symbolic act to show that things can be done differently. Janja is an example of an organized and more massive return and a strong community. Unfortunately, there are many small returnee places that are not so organized, those people are left to themselves, it is clear that they are being intimidated, and our leaders do little or nothing to protect them," said Konaković, reminding how the Government of the Sarajevo Canton also showed responsibility towards higher interests in the example of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde, by equipping the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde.
