Konaković accused the former government of crime, then did the same: Elektroprivreda management procures 400 thousand tons of coal from Lager

A great thinker, in the person of Mr. Konaković, once said, I quote: "We will kill them with deeds, Harkane".

This thinker said that everyone lies, and only he tells the truth. This thinker, an energy expert for gas and electricity in his free time, told us that JP EPBIH alone concluded contracts with 4 private mines worth 150 million KM this year, and that this same Elektroprivreda operates at a loss. He also explained on FACE TV that this is a great crime, in that JP EPBIH buys coal from private mines, while JP EPBIH has its own mines, and operates at a loss on all these concluded contracts.

Since, in Mr. Konaković's perception, everyone lies and he tells the truth, it is best for anyone who knows anything about energy to go to the website of JP EPBIH itself and look at public procurements and, lo and behold, find the decision from 17.11.2023.

That decision states that we prefer LAGER over mines owned by JP EPBIH.

In the explanation of the decision, JP EPBIH itself wrote that the company LAGER successfully executed the contract it had with Elektroprivreda BIH. Also, the Elektroprivreda commission recommends sending an invitation to submit offers in this negotiated procedure.

Incidentally, this is about the procurement of 400,000 tons of coal with an estimated value of 70,000,000 KM. Yes, you read that right, a private mine to supply coal for 70,000,000 KM to JP EPBIH, which owns mines.

This is not all, and it seems that the Government of FBiH did not inform Mr. Konaković about its decision, or Mr. Konaković did not hear them well because he is busy with Skenderija and Bjelašnica.

The Government of FBiH adopted a conclusion by which JP Elektroprivreda BiH is tasked with procuring 400,000 tons of coal in 2024 for the realization of the electricity balance for 2024, of a quality declared for operation in the boiler of the Kakanj Thermal Power Plant, and at prices that may differ from the prices from the FBiH Government's decision of 16.12.2021. This means that these prices can be higher, and that JP EPBIH accepts them because it is a negotiated procedure.

Based on this conclusion, JP EPBIH initiated a negotiated procedure, and in the pre-qualification, the company LAGER was selected as the only one that met the conditions.

When all this is analyzed, it is clear that JP EPBIH is satisfied with LAGER and that there are no obstacles to concluding a contract that can be higher in price than the prices from the FBiH Government's decision from 2021.

It is obvious that Mr. Konaković, in the ecstasy of his knowledge about the crime of everyone else except his own, does not see that JP EPBIH is procuring coal from a private mine. Why EPBIH is doing exactly what Mr. Konaković calls crime will be best explained by the power company itself. How LAGER successfully completed the previously concluded contract with the company LAGER, and they did not see that crime, they will best explain. What this coal means for the electricity balance of Elektroprivreda, they will best explain. Why Elektroprivreda operates at a loss, they will best explain, because for me to explain all this to Mr. Konaković would be too much.

I explained the Southern Interconnection to him once, and he didn't quite understand it, so doing Sisyphus's job again is not very wise for me. In the end, the thinker can persistently explain that everyone lies, and only he tells the truth, but we will defeat him with deeds/papers, my Harkane.
