Konaković: We haven't harmonized final solutions, we shouldn't block projects in BiH

(Patria) - The president of the People and Justice party, Elmedin Konaković, stated that today was a "tough and difficult meeting."

"A tough and difficult meeting, we have entered the very final stage. We have not harmonized the final solutions, especially regarding the courts. During the day, representatives will try to define this issue of jurisdiction and seat with Minister Bunoz. It is not a question of attitude towards Banja Luka, a beautiful city that I love, but a question of practicality and pragmatism, and we have not moved our positions. It will be crucial in the coming period whether we will return to the initial assumptions. We need to continue the continuity we had, I think the EU, unlike Dodik, will be more concrete, not because of us, but because of themselves and the fear that developed after the aggression on Ukraine," Konaković explained.

He added that a part of the jurisdiction concerning organized crime also remained undefined.

The leader of NiP, unlike Dodik and Stevandić, believes that today's meeting did not fail.

He said that there will be a session of the Council of Ministers today, but that the laws they discussed today will not be on the agenda.

He stated that he does not support Nenad Stevandić's statement about protectorates.

He added that he is of the opinion that projects should not be blocked because they generate profit.

When it comes to the Election Law, he said that the focus today was not on that law.

"We have an interest, an imperative, court rulings, the deletion of ethnic prefixes, we are interested in Kojović being able to be a candidate for a member of the Presidency from Sarajevo, being a Serb, that Ćamil Duraković can be in RS, someone from SNSD in Sarajevo," said Konaković.

The last meeting of the representatives of the coalition at the state level was held ten days ago in Istočno Sarajevo, at the premises of the RS Government.
