Konaković: No employee of the old KS Tourist Board will be left without care

The KS Assembly session has begun. KS Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković, in explaining the urgent procedure for amendments to the Tourism Law, stated that it is necessary due to the formation of the KS Tourist Board, which is underway, writes Patria agency.

- In other cantons, a membership fee has already been determined, which is a serious source of income, and the other is the complexity of Articles 108 and 109 and their unenforceability. That is why we need these changes.

- The process of taking over all employees of the old KS Tourist Board is underway. Their service will be recognized and a new systematization will be made. No employee will be left without care - Konaković said.

Konaković said that tourism is developing the fastest in KS and employs many people.

- The only thing that is not clear is from which part of the revenue we will collect the membership fees, but we will determine that in a public debate - Konaković said.

- The government has been tasked with developing a development strategy, but it is not linked to the amendments to the Tourism Law.

After a short debate, the urgent procedure for amendments to the Tourism Law was adopted.
