Konaković: The people have had enough of those who are now toppling the Government of the Sarajevo Canton

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Party of the People and Justice held a New Year's press conference, and the president of the Party of the People and Justice, Elmedin Konaković, said that the attempt to topple the Government of the Sarajevo Canton was organized by leaders whom the people have had enough of for 20 years. He added that threats from certain groups will not intimidate them.

"This government has done many things. Among other things, it built roads, removed illegal landfills, abolished waiting lists for kindergartens, secured maternity benefits, and renovated the maternity ward at the General Hospital," said Konaković, adding that this government has brought expertise back to the police.

He also touched on the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bisera Turković, as well as the composition of the Council of Ministers, where "Bosniaks have two and a half ministers."

"Minister Turković said there would be no MAP, while her party president Izetbegović stated it was a gaffe. We will see who was right," Konaković emphasized, adding that claims that NATO is already on the Drina River are exaggerated.

The president of the Party of the People and Justice said he expects the new Minister of Security, Fahrudin Radončić, to answer questions about why the eastern border is porous while the western side is hermetically sealed.

"Fahrudin Radončić, justifying his role in toppling the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, said he gave this government a year and that no results were seen. He has been silent for several years with his partners in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina about the failure to build the highway," said Konaković.
