Konaković to receive ministers' names today, new government by March 23

The names of SDA and DF candidates for ministerial positions in the Sarajevo Canton Government will be submitted on Wednesday morning to the designate for the formation of the new government, Elmedin Konaković, the BH News Agency Patria has learned.

As Sejo Bukva, President of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, told Patria, a Collegium session will likely be held today to schedule an Assembly session where the new Sarajevo government will be confirmed.

- We will see how much time is needed for candidate verification, so it is possible that the session will be on Friday or Monday - said Bukva.

Portfolio Distribution

In the new Sarajevo Canton Government, in addition to Prime Minister Konaković, SDA will have its personnel heading the ministries of finance, economy, transport, spatial planning, education, and the new Ministry of Communal Economy and Infrastructure, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

The Democratic Front will receive the ministries of internal affairs, justice and administration, health, culture and sport, social policy, and the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs, which will most likely be filled by a BPS cadre.
