(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Security, made a Decision on establishing the Plan for admitting cadets to police agencies at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024 at yesterday's session.
The Decision established the Plan for admitting cadets, specifically to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) 15 cadets each for the ranks of police officer and junior inspector, to the Border Police (GP) of BiH 150 cadets for the rank of police officer, and to the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies (DKPT) of BiH 50 cadets for the rank of police officer.
Funds for paying cadet allowances and for financing the employment of police officers will be secured in the budgets of SIPA, GP of BiH, and DKPT, and other funds necessary for cadet training in the budget of the Agency for Education and Professional Training.
These three police agencies will face the departure of a larger number of police officers this year and next year due to meeting retirement conditions. The largest number is in the Border Police of BiH, which bears the burden of the migrant crisis.
