(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić sent congratulations on the occasion of Golden Lilies Day to all recipients of the highest wartime recognition.
"Our struggle and readiness for sacrifice reminds us of the honorable fight for freedom and peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the lilies remind us that we did not flinch before the enemy.
Our courage is an inspiration to all generations, and the shine of the lilies on our chests lights the way for our children into new times. We are aware that we have not found satisfaction in such, yet precious, peace, but we have learned that the fight for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the fight against it, is waged in different ways, and never ceases.
May the Golden Lilies be an incentive for future generations to build peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Komšić, who is a recipient of the Golden Lily recognition.
