Komsic for HRT: I represent all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina

ZAGREB, (Patria) - "You had to prove racial purity in Hitler's Germany," said member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić in the show "Nedjeljom u 2" on HRT, explaining the policy advocated by national parties in BiH, against which, he said, his political party and he are fighting.

Komšić said that in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina he represents all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"That is my obligation, I swore to that," said Komšić.

The member of the BiH Presidency stated that BiH and Croatia have many open issues, including the fact that BiH returned all property /state property remaining after the breakup of Yugoslavia/ to Croatia, but that Croatia has not done the same towards BiH.

"I see no other way to relax relations except to talk," said Komšić, calling for cooperation between official Sarajevo and Zagreb.

Speaking about threats from Serbia and Croatia towards BiH, Komšić said that any redrawing of borders can only bring new problems to the region.

"We must learn to listen to each other, and understand each other," said Komšić, adding that no one in BiH has the capacity for new wars, and that BiH's entry into NATO would further stabilize the region.

Answering a question about the political position of Croats in BiH, Komšić said that Croats have one-third of power at the BiH level, and half of the power in the Federation, Patria reports.
