Komšić sends condolences to the family on the passing of Beriz Belkić

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić sent a telegram of condolences to the Belkić family on the passing of Beriz Belkić.

"With sincere regret, I received the news of the death of prominent Bosnian and Herzegovinian politician and colleague Beriz Belkić. I am convinced that Beriz Belkić will be remembered as a man who selflessly directed his political career and long-term activities towards preserving a whole Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country where there is a place for all its citizens.

He was a cautious politician, but he was not afraid to oppose, when necessary, the destroyers of the idea of such a Bosnia and Herzegovina. With his passing, we have all lost a lot, and most of all his family, with whose pain and loss I sincerely sympathize and wish them to find strength and comfort in these difficult moments only in each other.

I extend sincere condolences to his wife and son, family, friends, and colleagues on behalf of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in my own name," Komšić's telegram reads.
