Komšić: If Dodik splits judiciary and forms VRS, conflict is entirely certain

(Patria) - If Dodik continues like this, meaning if he strikes state institutions by forming parallel ones, splitting the BiH Armed Forces and rehabilitating the VRS, or splitting the BiH judiciary, conflict is entirely certain, said Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, in an interview for Danas, responding to the question of how real the danger of conflict in BiH is and whether Serbia and Croatia are undermining stability in BiH.

Komšić warns that everyone in Republika Srpska, and even Serbia, should think carefully about where Dodik is leading them.

"If that happens, I want to emphasize, it will be a conflict of state institutions with Dodik and his phalanxes, not a conflict with the Serb people. I emphasize 'if', so that tomorrow it's not said that I said conflict is certain out of the blue, because the propaganda machinery from Republika Srpska and Serbia has that habit, I would say tradition, of falsifying statements of those who are for peace, and embellishing statements of those who threaten it," said the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH for "Danas".
