Komšić in Maglaj: DF has every right to come before the people, we do not insult anyone, we are honest

(Patria) - President of the Democratic Front Željko Komšić, addressing a rally in Maglaj, told citizens and candidates of the Democratic Front that the DF candidate for mayor of this municipality, Adnan Sirovica, deserves the trust of citizens, because in a short period of time as Minister for Veterans' Affairs he proved to be a man who gained great reputation among the veteran population.

"We have before us to continue doing things for which we were known, and that is to try to put forward good people. What I know about Adnan Sirovica, our candidate for mayor of Maglaj, is his good reputation as Minister for Veterans' Affairs among the veteran population, and that deserves our trust, and there is no reason not to believe that he cannot act the same way in Maglaj.

The race for mayor here is tight and Adnan has serious chances to win. The citizens of Maglaj, based on everything he has done as minister in this short period of two years, can have confidence in him. I am glad that we have such a man in the party," said Komšić.

Komšić added that the Democratic Front has reason to be satisfied with its policies, and that DF has the right to come before the people.

"We have not at any point given up on what our main policy is, on what we think about our homeland and what we are ready to do for it. We have the right to come before the people and seek their trust, but this must be done with faith in ourselves, with energy, we must go towards the people, and we have every right to act that way."

"I will not talk about political opponents, although much could be said, I want to act in a way opposite to that by which people might recognize us, and I said this in Visoko as well, by how capable we are of insulting someone. I want people to recognize us by honesty, integrity, and readiness to help fellow citizens," Komšić said.
