(Patria) - Two members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, attended the official ceremony commemorating Ukraine's Independence Day in Kyiv today.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced, among other guests, the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, who addressed the audience from the stage.
“The free people of Bosnia and Herzegovina stand with Ukraine. We know too well the horrors of war, aggression, destruction, and war crimes. Witnessing Ukraine's struggle reminds us of our recent armed struggle, but also of today's challenges against attempts to destroy our country, its institutions, and its unique identity,” said Komšić, concluding his address with the words 'Slava Ukraini'.
