Komšić addresses UN General Assembly

NEW YORK, (Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić is staying in New York, where he is attending the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly. In addition to bilateral meetings he had with officials from the Netherlands and Estonia, Komšić will address the United Nations General Assembly today, starting at 2:00 PM (around 8:00 PM local time).

During his stay in New York, the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić will also participate in multilateral and bilateral meetings, and will have meetings with world officials. Komšić also met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and a trilateral meeting of BiH, Serbia, and Turkey is scheduled for October 8, when the foundation stone for the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo expressway, which will be largely financed by Turkey, will be laid.

In his talks with officials, Komšić emphasized that he will never give up on the NATO path, as it would be disastrous for BiH and its citizens.
