Komšić with the Association of Generals of BiH: It is important to preserve all state institutions

(Patria) - The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, received representatives of the Association of Generals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rizvo Pleh - President, Nedžad Ajnadžić - Deputy, Sadik Klinić - Secretary, and Ismet Alija, Džemal Merdan – members of the Management Board.

On their part, the representatives of the Association of Generals of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed full support for the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the case "Kovačević," considering it extremely important for our country.

Chairperson Komšić emphasized that the judgment establishes a new standard and a bottom line that must not be crossed in all future talks and negotiations regarding amendments to the Constitution and the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was particularly highlighted that the judgment aims to change the entire paradigm of the political system in Bosnia and Herzegovina by aligning it with European standards, which are a necessary condition for accession to the European Union.

In addition, the representatives of the Association of Generals of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed their concern over the inertia of the international community in terms of constantly pandering to anti-state policies, whose bearers are Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, through which an attempt is made to transfer the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina to neighboring Croatia and Serbia.

It was jointly assessed that in the current political moment, it is very important to preserve all state institutions and their uninterrupted work, despite the announced blockades and obstructions coming from the BiH entity of Republika Srpska.
