Komšić: We talked about compromise with ambassadors, no progress in forming government

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić said after today's session of the Presidency of BiH that a large number of agreements, contracts, and arrangements were adopted, as well as invitations for the Presidency of BiH to visit Serbia and Slovenia were accepted.

He confirmed that members of the Presidency of BiH will attend the laying of the cornerstone for the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo expressway in Sremska Rača on October 8.

„A trilateral meeting Serbia – Turkey – BiH will be held,“ Komšić confirmed. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also attend the meeting.

A working visit to Slovenia will take place at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Komšić also commented on the meeting held with ambassadors of the Quint (USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and France).

„We talked with the ambassadors about the overall situation in BiH, the need to reach a compromise, and the need for the Presidency of BiH, due to its structure as it is, to represent a kind of leader in that story. We will see if that will happen. There were no concrete developments. It is up to us to see how we will get out of this situation regarding the formation of government and the story about MAP, ANP, the NATO path.
