Komšić talked with participants of the Winter School, second part of the 'Paths of Leadership' project

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić received today the participants of the Winter School, second part of the "Paths of Leadership" project, which gathers young people from different parts of Sarajevo Canton and returnee areas.

The young leaders visited the Presidency of BiH building accompanied by the project organizers, the Association "Ruku na srce" (Hand on Heart), who are implementing the project in partnership with the Center for Youth "Future" (SOS Children's Villages) and with the support of the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

The participants of the Winter School, aged 16 to 19, had the opportunity to talk with the member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić about the challenges and opportunities for young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to exchange opinions and ideas about social changes and political participation.



During the meeting, Komšić emphasized the importance of youth engagement in the process of building society and praised initiatives that enable young people to develop key skills, including leadership, communication, and negotiation.

He also stressed that young people are a key factor in bringing about important social changes and that their education and activism contribute to creating a better and more just society.

He considers it extremely important for young people to be included in all spheres of social life, because only in this way can we build a stable and prosperous Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This meeting is part of a broader effort to provide young people with opportunities for development and engagement in local, regional, and national issues, thereby contributing to building future leaders, emphasized the project organizers.
